Mommie Dearest (1981) Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford, her eyebrows are harbingers of doom! I’d never seen this, and given its cult following, finally decided to check it out to see the infamous “no wire hangers” scene in its full film context. I was completely reviled and found it absolutely painful to watch. I couldn’t see past the horribleness to even consider it in a campy or humorous realm. I will never be revisiting this one. Just plain bad.
